Terms of Service

What Rally is
Rally is a fitness accountability app for you and your crew: daily check-ins, streaks, macros, meal and training guidance, and a shared leaderboard. By creating an account, or by agreeing when asked, you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Not medical advice
Rally provides general nutrition, fitness, and wellness information for educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment, or a prescription, and it is not a substitute for a doctor or registered dietitian. Talk to a qualified professional before starting any new diet, supplement, or exercise program — especially if you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating.
Calorie and macro targets are estimates produced from the numbers you enter. They are not prescriptions and they are not right for everyone. If tracking food or weight is harmful for you, please stop using those features and speak to someone qualified.
Exercise carries risk, and you accept it
Physical exercise can cause injury, illness, or in rare cases death. By using Rally you confirm you are physically able to take part in the activity you choose, that you have cleared it with a physician if there is any reason to, and that you take part entirely at your own risk. You are responsible for your own form, your own limits, your own equipment, and for stopping when something hurts. Rally does not supervise, coach, or assess you, and cannot know whether a given workout is safe for you on a given day.
To the fullest extent the law allows, you release Rally and its owner from any claim arising out of injury, illness, or loss connected with exercise, diet, or supplements you undertake while using the app.
Your account
You must be at least 16 to use Rally. Keep your login secure and give accurate information — the guidance the app produces is only as good as what you tell it. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
Don't break the law with Rally, harass anyone, impersonate anyone, scrape it, attack it, or try to reach data that isn't yours. Crews are small groups of people who chose each other — treat them that way.
Content you post
Check-ins, photos, messages and crew names are yours. You keep ownership, and you give us permission to store and display them so the app works. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.
We don't review posts before they appear and we're not obliged to monitor them, but we may remove anything, or close an account, at our discretion. If you believe something on Rally infringes your copyright, contact us through the app with enough detail to identify the work and where it appears, and we'll deal with it.
Crew challenges and stakes
Crews can set their own stakes for a challenge. Rally records what your crew agreed and who is ahead — that is all. We never collect, hold, escrow, or pay out money between members. Anything your crew decides to put on the line is a private arrangement between you, settled between yourselves, and entirely your responsibility — including anything it might mean under the gambling or contest laws where you live. Leaderboards, points, and streaks are measures of activity you log yourselves; we don't guarantee they are accurate or free from manipulation by other members.
Rally Pro, trials & billing
The core app is free. Rally Pro is an optional paid subscription. The price, billing interval, and any free-trial length are shown clearly before you subscribe, and payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details.
Free trials require a valid payment method, and are auto-renewing. By starting a Pro subscription or free trial, you authorize Rally and Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis: when a free trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to paid and your card is charged the then-current price, and it renews and charges again each billing period, until you cancel. You will not be charged during the free-trial period if you cancel before it ends.
Cancel anytime from Profile → Rally Pro (or the billing portal linked there). Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep Pro until then. Apart from the guarantee below, and except where required by law, charges are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods, unused time, or forgetting to cancel. It is your responsibility to cancel before a trial or renewal if you do not want to be charged.
The 30-day guarantee. If you record check-ins on at least 20 separate days within your first 30 days as a paying Pro member, and you email us within those 30 days to say it hasn't worked for you, we will refund what you have paid for that subscription in full. You keep any plans Rally generated for you. The guarantee covers your first paid subscription, applies once per person, and the 30 days are counted from your first successful charge — not from the start of the free trial.
Disclaimers & limits on liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We don't promise the app will always be up, that reminders or notifications will always arrive, or that anything it calculates is free of error.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rally and its owner are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost data, or loss connected with your health, diet, training, or anything another member does. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$50. Some places don't allow these limits; where that is so, they apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited.
Indemnity
You agree to cover Rally and its owner against any claim, loss, or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the app, anything you post, any stake or arrangement you make with your crew, or your breach of these terms.
Disputes, governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Talk to us first. If something goes wrong, contact us through the app and give us 30 days to sort it out. Most things end there.
Individual claims only; no class actions; jury trial waived. Any dispute that isn't resolved will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you and we consent to that venue. You and we each agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative action, and each waive any right to a jury trial, to the extent the law allows. Either of us may still bring an individual claim in small-claims court.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Profile, which removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or stop offering the service altogether, with notice where it's reasonable to give it. If we close your account without cause while you have paid time remaining, we'll refund the unused part.
Changes & contact
We may update these terms. When a change is material we'll ask you to agree again the next time you open the app, and the date and version you agreed to is recorded on your account. Questions? Reach the app owner through the app. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
